Abstract:
An instrument has been designed for carrying out Lord's procedure in the treatment of haemorrhoids. This permits standardization of the procedure with less likelihood of mucosal trauma. The inflatable dilator is covered by a disposable plastic cover. The efficacy of the instrument has been established.
