Abstract:
When [Cu(3)(phis)(3)](ClO(4))(3), obtained from Cu(ClO(4))(2).6H(2)O with the Na(+) or K(+) salt of the phis anion (Hphis = N-(2-pyridylmethyl)-l-histidine), is reacted with LiClO(4), the tricopper cationic structure rearranged to accommodate a Li(+) ion to form [(ClO(4))Li[Cu(3)(phis)(3)]](ClO(4))(3) which can also be prepared directly by reacting Cu(ClO(4))(2).6H(2)O with the Li(+) salt of the phis anion.
