Summary

Pregnancy with primary pulmonary hypertension (PPH) carries a high maternal mortality risk. Therapeutic abortion is indicated for pregnant patients with PPH to avoid severe complications.

Background:

  • A 26-year-old pregnant patient was diagnosed with PPH at 21 weeks gestation.
  • The patient received low-molecular-weight heparin and sedatives.
  • Pregnancy termination was performed without complications.

Findings:

  • The case demonstrates successful management of pregnancy termination in a PPH patient.
