  • Immunology
  • Cellular immunology
  • Immunoreactivity testing

Context:

  • Lymphocyte stimulation assays using mitogens and antigens are standard in vitro models.
  • Significant variability in blastogenic responses complicates data interpretation.
  • Need for improved analytical methods in immunoreactivity assessment.

Purpose:

  • To evaluate the utility of multivariate experimental design and statistical analysis.
  • To enhance the interpretation of lymphocyte blastogenesis assays.
  • To address the challenge of high variability in in vitro immunoreactivity testing.

Summary:

  • Multivariate experiments and advanced statistical methods were applied to lymphocyte stimulation assays.
  • These approaches were found to significantly improve the interpretation of blastogenic responses.
