Abstract:
The method of breast reconstruction using a submuscular permanent expander is rapid and simple, imposing minimal stress on the patient. Using it, it is possible to obtain good shape and size of the reconstructed breast; the ptotic position remains to pose a problem. This modality is useful especially in bilateral involvement and in all patients with a concomitant disease or another risk factor.
