    Summary

    Enzymatic lysis using Thrombolysin successfully recanalized coronary arteries in dogs, restoring blood flow after induced thrombus formation. ECG analysis showed significant changes, but Thrombolysin infusion proved safe for myocardial tissue.

    Background:

    • Intracoronary thrombus formation leads to myocardial infarction.
    • Enzymatic lysis is a potential therapeutic strategy for thrombus dissolution.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To evaluate the efficacy and safety of direct intracoronary Thrombolysin infusion for recanalizing occluded coronary arteries.
    • To assess electrocardiogram (ECG) changes following enzymatic lysis of coronary thrombi.

    Main Methods:

    • Electrocardiograms (ECG) were recorded before and after Thrombolysin infusion in dogs with induced coronary thrombi.
    • A control group of dogs without thrombi also underwent ECG analysis.
    • Thrombolysin was infused directly into the anterior descending coronary artery.

    Main Results:

    • Complete recanalization of obstructed coronary arteries was achieved in all experimental dogs.
    • Statistically significant differences in heart rate (HR) and ECG intervals (R-R, QRS, Q-T, Q-Tc) were observed in the experimental group.
    • Histological examination showed no adverse effects on myocardial tissue, such as necrosis or inflammation.

    Conclusions:

    • Direct intracoronary Thrombolysin infusion is effective in achieving coronary artery recanalization.
    • The treatment demonstrated a safe profile with no observed adverse effects on the myocardium.
    • ECG changes indicate physiological responses to thrombolysis and reperfusion.
