Summary

Condyloma acuminata (CA), a common sexually transmitted disease caused by human papillomavirus (HPV), is effectively diagnosed using PCR and treated with podophyllotoxin and interferons. HPV DNA detection aids in differentiating CA from pseudocondyloma.
