[Phenotype characteristics of mononuclears in peripheral blood and csf in multiple sclerosis]

In 48 clinically definite cases of multiple sclerosis the studies were performed of mononuclears phenotypes in CSF and peripheral blood. The results lead to following conclusions: 1. The percentage of cells with dominant reactivity of Anti HLADR, CD14 and CD56 in CSF is markedly lower than in the peripheral blood. 2. There exists a marked difference in the percentage of cells in CSF with reactivity anti-HLADR, CD14 and CD56 between patients in the relapse-remitting and chronic progressive phases of multiple sclerosis.
