[Radioprotective action of N-acetyl p. aminophenol in the mouse]
Abstract:
N-acetyl p. amino phenol given intraperitonealy to mice (20 or 40 mg kilo) before irradiation by 1000 or 500 rad has a radioprotective effect with a reduction in death rate and, after an initial fall, a quicker increase of the number of white blood cells in the treated group.
