Randomized clinical trials of neurally mediated syncope

Evidence for neurally mediated syncope therapies is weak. Most drug trials show no benefit over placebo, and while cardiac pacing shows promise for carotid sinus syndrome, its efficacy in vasovagal syncope remains uncertain.
