[Design of a protocol of urologic research]

The need of scientific knowledge production in Urology is unavoidable and desirable, despite of the daily work complexity, overload, and conditions. Research initiatives should be well planned to make the limited time and resources usually available for protocols and research projects development very rentable. In this article we describe the critical success predictor points for a project and the different stages any research work consists of, from the initial question to the applicability of the results.
