Abstract:
This study was performed in 50 female subjects aged 20-50 years. The women in group II were exposed to 10-14 mg/m3 carbon disulphide. Platelet aggregation was determined according to Born, the concentration of cholesterol and triglycerides with the enzymic method and LDL-cholesterol and HDL-cholesterol by precipitation. It was found that women exposed to CS2 had a significantly higher (p < 0.01) concentration of LDL-Ch. Furthermore, these women demonstrated very active platelet aggregation, reflected mainly by decreased aggregation threshold due to ADP influence.
