    • The higher prevalence of atrial fibrillation in patients with low ejection fraction suggests a potential link between this rhythm disturbance and impaired left ventricular contraction.
    • Further research is warranted to elucidate the causal relationship between atrial fibrillation and left ventricular dysfunction in mitral stenosis.
