Abstract:
The fundamentals of electrocardiographic diagnosis and the types of abnormal ECGs frequently found during surgery are described in this two-part article. Part 1 discusses lead placement and artifact recognition. Part 2 will describe arrhythmia and atrial fibrillation and flutter. Clinical situations of each are analyzed.
