Abstract:
In physiological conditions the vaginal flora reflects, from a quantitative a quality point of view, the metabolical, local and hormonal situation of the woman. The vaginal infections could be facilitated by borderline conditions, between physiology and pathology. The prevention may contribute to limit the development and diffusion of infections. For this reason, we have examined, with a bacteriological and symptomatological test who 50 women requested a gynecological control for different reasons from vulvovaginiti. The results suggest that women often silently accept borderline conditions.
