Background:

Intervertebral disk calcification is uncommon.
Herniation into vertebral bodies can occur but is rare.

Observation:

A 56-year-old female presented with acute back pain.
Imaging revealed a calcified intervertebral disk.
Disk herniation was observed into the 10th dorsal vertebral body.

Findings:

The patient's symptoms were directly linked to the calcified disk and herniation.
This specific presentation is highly unusual.

Implications:

This case expands the understanding of spinal disk pathologies.
It may inform differential diagnoses for acute back pain.
Further research into calcified disk herniation is warranted.
