Ganciclovir, an antiviral medication, may cause seizures in patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) and cytomegalovirus (CMV) infections. Discontinuation of ganciclovir led to seizure resolution, with recurrence upon reintroduction, suggesting a probable link.
