[The genetic aspects in the genesis of autonomic crises (panic attacks)]

Abstract:
In 30 patients with vegetative crises (VC) (the structure of the crises met DSM-III criteria for panic attacks), the typing of histocompatibility (HLA) antigens was carried out. Antigen HLA-Cw6 was found in 53% of the patients (in 10% in controls [pc < 0.01]). The relative risk of VC in persons having antigen Cw6 is 10.3. The data obtained allow regarding antigen HLA-Cw6 as of potential genetic markers of VC.
