Abstract:
The author presents the possible mechanism that probably lead to deterioration of neurological finding after changes of parenchymatous pressure of neural tissue in the course of lumbar puncture, ventriculography or some neurosurgical interventions. The possible cause are arachnoidal adhesions impeding free circulation of cerebrospinal fluid. "Trapped" cerebrospinal fluid leads to the ischemia of the neural tissue because of relative increasing of cerebrospinal fluid pressure.
