Thyroid cancer in youth

Study was made of 11 patients under 20 years of age with thyroid cancer. Nine were girls and two boys. Eight of the patients had first sought medical advice because of cervical adenopathy. Nine of the patients had had x-ray therapy to the head and neck previous to the diagnosis of the thyroid cancer.
