Summary
Postnephrectomy renal arteriovenous fistulas are rare complications. Simple ligation of the renal pedicle effectively treated a fistula in one patient, offering a viable alternative to embolization.

- The patient experienced an uneventful recovery and remained asymptomatic at 12-month follow-up.

- Surgical ligation can be an effective treatment for postnephrectomy renal AVFs, especially when embolization is not feasible.
