Epidermoid cyst of the spleen: diagnosis suggested by fine-needle aspiration biopsy

The authors report a case of epidermoid cyst of the spleen, in which cytologic findings were characteristic and suggested this diagnosis. Histologic and immunohistochemical findings are described in the attempt to clarify the histogenesis of this cystic lesion.
