Peripheral T-cell lymphomas (PTCLs) showed similar clinical outcomes across histological subtypes. Stage IV PTCL patients had significantly lower complete remission rates and poorer survival, highlighting disease stage as a key prognostic factor.

Background:

  • Peripheral T-cell lymphomas (PTCLs) are a heterogeneous group of non-Hodgkin lymphomas.
  • Accurate prognostic factors are crucial for guiding treatment strategies in PTCL patients.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the correlation between clinicopathological features and clinical outcome in PTCL patients.
  • To identify prognostic indicators for complete remission (CR) and survival in PTCL.

Main Methods:

  • Histological classification and tumor cell size assessment (Nebraska Group criteria) were performed on 50 PTCL patients.
  • Clinical features, including stage, B symptoms, and lactate dehydrogenase levels, were analyzed.
  • Chemotherapy regimens, such as cyclophosphamide, vincristine, procarbazine, and prednisone (COPP), were considered.
