Abstract:
Verrucous carcinoma is a well-differentiated form of squamous cell carcinoma. This tumor has been shown to mimic a variety of other skin lesions with its insidious onset and apparently benign course. Early detection and a thorough histologic examination of this growth aid in proper diagnosis, treatment, and reduction in morbidity. An interesting case history and literature survey are presented to facilitate diagnosis and treatment of this rare pedal neoplasm.
