Background:

Leiomyomas are benign smooth muscle tumors that can occur in various organs.
Urinary bladder leiomyomas are rare, particularly in male patients.
This report details a specific case to contribute to the understanding of bladder leiomyomas.

Observation:

A 40-year-old male presented with symptoms necessitating investigation of the urinary bladder.
Diagnostic procedures, including transurethral resection-biopsy, identified the presence of a bladder leiomyoma.
The tumor was surgically removed via enucleation.

Findings:

The histological diagnosis confirmed the tumor as a leiomyoma of the urinary bladder.
This case represents one of the rare instances of bladder leiomyoma reported in males in Japan.
