Abstract:
Three cases of symptomatic asymmetric septal hypertrophy are reported. The echocardiogram allows a reliable diagnosis; it entails no risk to the patient and it may be repeated during the course of the disease. Associated with biventricular angiocardiography, the echocardiogram represents the method of choice in detecting these lesions.
