[Heterotopic ossifications in a patient with severe craniocerebral trauma]

Patients with severe head injury and fractures of joints or of long bones often show a hypertrophic callus formation which leads to a rapid consolidation of a fracture but can also lead to an ankylosis of the joints. This is the retrospective report of a patient who showed this phenomenon.
