Effects of mentorship on learners

Abstract:
This small study was carried out in a unit for the care of the elderly to which second-level student nurses are allocated. No mentorship scheme was in operation in this unit and therefore the nursing officer, ward sisters, staff nurses and the nurse teacher in charge of the small school decided to compare the benefits of mentorship with non-mentorship.
