Interleukin 13 (IL-13) gene polymorphisms do not appear to influence Graves' disease (GD) susceptibility, severity of hyperthyroidism, or the development of ophthalmopathy. This study found no significant genetic association between IL-13 variants and GD clinical outcomes.
