Summary

Inter-alpha-inhibitor, a plasma protein, plays a crucial role in stabilizing reproductive cells and may act as an anti-inflammatory agent. Its heavy chains, when transferred to hyaluronan and bound by TSG-6, offer protection and enhance anti-proteolytic activity.
