Summary
A liver mass was diagnosed as liver cell adenoma with focal malignant transformation to hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Elevated serum proteins induced by vitamin K absence (PIVKA-II) normalized after tumor resection.

Background:
- A 57-year-old woman presented with a liver mass detected via CT scan.
- She had a history of brief oral contraceptive use.
