Cross-validation of the General Neuropsychological Deficit Scale (GNDS)
1Reitan Neuropsychology Laboratory, South Tucson, AZ 85713-4819, USA.
Abstract:
Sherer and Adams (1993) reported "limited support" for the validity of Reitan and Wolfson's (1988) Neuropsychological Deficit Scales. The present study was designed to cross-validate one of these scales--the General Neuropsychological Deficit Scale (GNDS). The results were in relatively close agreement with the findings originally reported by Reitan and Wolfson, and indicate that the findings of Sherer and Adams also generally support the validity of the GNDS.
