Abstract:
The Alma Ata Declaration states that "the people have the right and duty to participate individually and collectively in the planning and implementation of their health care." This means that community involvement in health development is fundamental in the battle for health. And, as the author demonstrates below, its participation in health research is necessary in the process of finding better ways and methods to provide health for all.
