Summary
We developed a novel fluorescent molecule, 3,6-bis(1-methyl-4-vinylpyridium)carbazole diiodide (BMVC), to detect specific DNA quadruplex structures. BMVC fluorescence distinguishes quadruplex DNA from duplex DNA with high sensitivity.
