[Bacteriological findings in Redon drains in maxillofacial surgery]

In 58 operations to the jaws, face, and neck, the exudate was withdrawn by Redaon drainage and subsequently examined bacteriologically. The authors report data on the type of causative agent involved and on the level of bacterial contamination, which are related to the process of healing.
