[Why are hospital emergencies used? Opinion of nursing professionals]
Abstract:
In this paper we identify the key elements in the use of emergency health facilities. Using the data collected from 14 nurses (5 individual interviews & 6 from focal group), and following of Giorgi (1997) method, we found that those elements are: Changes in the Emergency Health concept, b) The lack of information and education about Health Facilities, c) The belief that Emergency Facilities are better than other kinds of health facilities, and d) The biasing influence of the media. We suggest analyzing the recipient's point of view.
