Milk leakage--an increased risk in automatic milking systems

Milk leakage in dairy cows is more frequent in automatic milking systems (AMS) than conventional milking systems (CMS). This increased milk leakage, particularly in younger cows and rear quarters, may elevate udder infection risks.
