Summary

Single exposure to formaldehyde vapour affects rat behavior, altering exploratory and locomotor activity. These behavioral changes, including reduced movement and increased sniffing, were observed in both male and female rats and persisted for 24 hours.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the influence of single inhalative formaldehyde exposure on the explorative and locomotor behavior of adult male and female rats.
