The use and limitations of Phaneuf's Nursing Audit

The use of Phaneuf's Nursing Audit in an action research project that is investigating quality assessment and peer review is discussed. A brief description of the project is given followed by an analysis of the audit tool. This analysis suggests that the tool has more disadvantages than advantages.
