Summary

Tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNFalpha) gene polymorphisms may influence susceptibility to cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN). Specifically, the TNFalpha -308 GG genotype was more frequent in women with CIN, suggesting a role in disease development.
