Child sexual abuse histories among African-American college students: a preliminary study

Abstract:
Data from questionnaires completed by 1,040 African-American college students were analyzed for prevalence of child sexual abuse among this population. Rates were found to be similar to those in other studies of both general populations and female college students. Results of the study are discussed and directions for further research suggested.
