Summary
Central nervous system (CNS) posttransplant lymphoproliferative disorders (PTLDs) are uniformly high-grade lymphomas, distinct from PTLDs in other organs. These EBV+ CNS PTLDs often present as multiple lesions with poor prognoses, especially after stem cell transplants.
