Female genital tuberculosis (FGTB) is a significant issue in Ethiopia. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) combined with other diagnostic methods offers the most sensitive and specific approach for accurate FGTB detection.

- FGTB represents a significant clinical problem in Ethiopia.
- A combination of PCR with other diagnostic techniques provides optimal sensitivity and specificity for FGTB diagnosis in this region.
