This highlights the efficacy of ultrasound in visualizing colonic pathology.

Implications:

Colonic sonography represents a simple, non-invasive tool for evaluating colonic abnormalities in children.
It can serve as an effective alternative or complementary diagnostic modality when standard procedures are non-diagnostic.
