Abstract:
There were operated on 8 patients in Neurosurgical Department in Cracow since 1961 to 1970 due to dystonia. The longest follow-up post stereotactic procedure were 38 and 40 years. In both cases full recovery were gained. These patients are independent, mentally and physically efficient. In the remaining cases the improvement were transient. There were no complications during procedure and deterioration of neurological condition.
