Abstract:
We demonstrate the capability of localized structures of spatiotemporal nonlinear optical systems for detection and tracking of small moving objects. Such nonlinear dynamics based image-processing systems are readily implemented using an existing parallel optoelectronic architecture designed for real-time operation.
