Abstract:
A survey is given on the peculiar characteristics of laboratory methods for analyzing the blood coagulation system with special regard to the pre-analytical, the analytical and post-analytical phase. Routinely used methods are described as well as test combinations for the diagnostic of some characteristic coagulopathies.
