To systematically review the literature on measuring, monitoring, and treating disability in Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS).
To identify factors associated with employment outcomes and effective interventions for CFS patients.

Systematic review of English-language literature (1988-2001).
Inclusion of interventional and observational studies on adults with CFS reporting disability and employment measures.
Qualitative synthesis of impairment measures related to employment.
