Abstract:
Celiac sprue is a chronic malabsorptive disorder that occurs in predisposed individuals secondary to ingestion of gluten. An increase of atopic or immunologic disorders has been reported in the setting of gluten enteropathy. The incidence of urticaria and celiac sprue is unknown but appears to be rare.
