Abstract:
Terms applied in an instrument from the International Classification for Nursing Practice on Collective Health in Brazil were assessed based on nursing interventions established by the ICN in order to determine if these would be allowed to represent the nursing practice in Brazil. A three-step procedure was used to interconnect such terms and a descriptive analysis was performed. The conclusion was that NIC would be useful in Brazil.
